Facility Overview

The Food Pavilion is a state-of-the-art facility located at 900 Innes Ave within the India Basin Waterfront Parkin the heart of India Basin Waterfront Park. Featuring a modern commercial kitchen equipped with top-of-the-line culinary equipment and tools from industrial grade ovens to high-performance stove tops to refrigeration system that will accommodate a diverse set of culinary endeavors., The Food Pavilion offers a dynamic space for chefs, food entrepreneurs, and community members to come together and create.

About the Kitchen

  • A fully equipped commercial kitchen (520 sq ft)

  • Two patio areas open to the public, one shaded patio (216 sq ft) that seats 8 people and one open air patio (321 sq ft) that seats 16 people

  • One restroom at the upper level and additional restrooms at the lower level open to the public.

Our Purpose

The Food Pavilion is dedicated to fostering community development, promoting economic growth, and celebrating cultural diversity in the Bayview-Hunters Point neighborhood, San Francisco and the Bay Area. We aim to create a vibrant space where food becomes a means of connection, education, and empowerment. By providing a platform for Black Indigenous People of Color (BIPOC) chefs, culinary educators, and community organizations, we strive to make culinary experiences accessible to all and nurture a sense of belonging.
